Satellite Fields

As part of our push to keep our satellite fields (non-Yeonas and turf fields) in good shape, we are looking for volunteers to do some general tidying of the playing areas - raking base paths, edging base paths, weeding, etc.  Volunteers would bring their own tools.  With a group of 4/5 people per field, this task should easily be accomplished in an hour (more is better, even if signup is filled any help is appreciated).  We need crews at Cedar Lane, Stenwood, Westbriar, and Marshall Road. All the same fields we play on.  We are trying to do two sessions.  One on May 5th and May 19th (Sundays from 10am to 11am).

PowerU – Travel Baseball Program – Tryouts (8u,9u,10u,11u)

https://www.powerukids.com/travel-program

In an attempt to harness the overwhelming demand to expand our offering to multiple teams per age group, we are holding tryouts which will allow for greater competition and flexibility for all participants.

Our idea of a travel program is to bring together a group of like-minded and "baseball-inclined" families who could benefit from practicing and playing together at an accelerated pace - more detailed instruction, advanced concepts, and far more efficient reps.  We believe kids and families can greatly enjoy the "travel" experience without having to commit to an exorbitant amount of time or having to pay significant fees to participate.  At PowerU, we certainly take things seriously, but with the right degree of fun and levity along the way.

If you are interested in attending tryouts, please contact Ken Tyrrell at .

Tryout dates:

Sunday May 12th – 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Sunday May 19th – 4:00pm – 6:00pm
