Vienna Little League is in its 72nd year of shaping young ballplayers and citizens. In Little League, children learn how to throw, catch, hit and, most importantly, be part of a team. Kids learn how to strike out and go back up to bat. They learn how to cheer for one another and support their teammates in their successes and failures – when they hit a home run or when they drop a pop fly. On and off the field, Little League shapes our kids to be strong, well-rounded athletes.

For generations George C. Yeonas Park has been the heart of VLL. We have amazing fields at Yeonas (as well as at Nottoway and Glyndon parks), but the spaces off the field need our attention. This year we have set an ambitious goal to hit it out of the park and raise $75,000 to further improve Yeonas.
When we meet our goal, we plan to spend: 

•  $40,000 on an updated playground between Rhodes and Nance;
•  $20,000 on lights for the cages near Crabtree; and 
•  $15,000 on an architectural assessment and plans for a clubhouse overhaul. 

Imagine a clubhouse with a full-service snack bar, updated accessible restrooms and a function room where teams could celebrate or where a family could host a party. All this is possible! Will you be part of seeding this vision?
